Student Life

Many cultural and student social activities are planed throughout the academic year. There are also a wide variety of restaurants and entertainment establishments throughout the Valley (Emek) and surrounding communities. Students enjoy the picturesque region in the North of Israel; the Sea of Galilee to the north and views the Golan Heights, the Gilead mountains, the intersection of three borders, Mount Berniki, Tsefat, and Tiberias.

Student Union

Our Student Union is guided by one principle; student interests are above all!

The role of the Student Union is to advance meaningful actions and to support student rights and obligations. The Student Union serves as a platform that connects students to the College.

They represent and strengthen students in academic committees and believe in the need for integration and connection between the many groups on campus.

Entertainment

Beit Gavriel– located next door to the College, is where you can go see a movie, enjoy concerts, hear lectures and more.

Sport

Beit Eyal- An advanced sports center with a heated pool – approx. 5km from campus

Spin-dan in Kibbutz Degania Alef- An advanced sports center approx. 1.5km from campus

Shopping

Mall “Mul” Kinneret– Shopping Center with restaurants, Stores and entertainment- about 1.5km from the student dormitory complex

Emek HaYarden Regional Council (Jordan Valley Regional Council)

Comprising of much of the western shore of the Sea of Galilee, the southern parts of its eastern shore, and the northern part of the Jordan Valley all the way to Beit She’an in the south.
