1: GREENINMED PROJECT

The GREENinMED Project, co-financed by the European ENI CBC MED Programme, seeks to increase the competitiveness of Mediterranean SMEs operating in the hotel industry, by applying innovative solutions to increase the efficiency in water and energy management. The aim is to reduce the consumption levels by 10%, through the new products/innovative solutions. Four partners from Spain, France and Israel compose the GREENinMED Consortium. The specific objectives of the project are the following ones: 1. Creating a cross-border network to identify and analyze the most important products/services that exist in eco-innovation matters for the hotel industry, in response to its actual needs. GREENinMED, through innovation vouchers, offer support to finance the necessary consultancy services to back up new products/services adopted by tourist SMEs, in order to become more efficient and competitive. 2. Improving eco-innovation ecosystems in water and energy, through financial support in the form of subsidies, allowing Mediterranean start-ups or innovating enterprises to generate new products/services. Likewise, the Project will encourage spin-offs through SME collaboration with joint venture partners.

2: Requirement of services:

The expenditure verification required by the implementing rules of the project shall be carried out by private external auditors. The auditor chosen must have a license issued by the Accountants Council, in accordance with the Accountant Council Law, 1955 , and be a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel https://www.icpas.org.il/english/.

• Auditing of financial procedures for Arava Institute for Environmental Studies and for Kinneret College on the Sea of Galilee, for the GREENinMed project.  Reference documents are attached. You can request the project budget and Grant Contract for the purpose of providing a price quote for the auditing.
• Auditing of project expenses reports.
• Auditing of 7 (4 Kinneret College and 3 Arava Institute) subgrantees expenses reports.
• Participating in meetings about financial issues of the project staff if required
• Participating in training for auditors organized by the Managing Authority of the project if required.
• Time frame: Start immediately. Most of the work will be carried out during July-September 2023, but there are some tasks that will be carried out later this year after the review of the report by the project management.

Prerequisites:

1. significant experience in auditing projects and grants given by European authorities.
2. Must: English and Hebrew in mother tongue level
3. license issued by the Accountants Council, in accordance with the Accountant Council Law, 1955.

3: Required timing: The project is time sensitive and reply within 2 workdays is required.

2: Requirement of services:

• Film in 7 different locations in Israel (north, center and south)
• Use of High-quality and modern photography equipment
• Drone filming is a must.
• Interview representatives of companies about their projects on sustainable technologies. Excellent interview skills are required.
• Editing of 7 short films of approx. 4 minutes length each including logos opening and computerized simulations.
• Collecting footage from other sources that will be sent from abroad.
• Editing of a short film of 8 to12 minutes length for the final conference of the project, including logos opening. The film will include footage of the 7 short videos produced and additional content.

3: Required timing:

All the filming and the collection of all additional footage and logos must be finished before May 24, 2023. All videos must be ready on June 15 ,2022. The films will be translated and subtitled by a different supplier before the final event of the project that will take place on June 27, 2023.

2: Requirement of services:

• Check and correct English and sometimes Hebrew versions of legal documentations in connection with subgrants, for Arava Institute for Environmental Studies and for Kinneret College on the Sea of Galilee, for the GREENinMed project.
• Check subgrantee documentation for eligibility and correctness
• Give legal advice on subgrantee process, contracts,
• Time frame: start immediately and until end of project

Prerequisites:

• significant experience in handling legal aspects of grants given by European authorities
• Must: English and Hebrew in mother tongue level; proficiency in Spanish and French: strong advantage

3: Required timing: The project is time sensitive and reply within 3 workdays is required. The project ends in 15.07.2023 and invoices will be accepted no later than 07.07.2023.

במימונה של תכנית ה-ENI CBC Med במסגרת פרויקט ה- GREENinMED

מכון הערבה ללימודי הסביבה והמכללה האקדמית כנרת מזמינים בזאת הצעות להפקה של מוצרים\שירותים חדשניים חדשים לייעול השימוש במים ו\או באנרגיה בעסקים הפועלים בענף התיירות. קול קורא זה מופיע כחלק מפרויקט חוצה-גבולות בשם GREENinMED וממומן על ידי האיחוד האירופאי דרך התכנית ENI CBC Med.

במזרח התיכון בכלל ובישראל בפרט, תעשיית התיירות היא אחת החשובות ביותר בזירה הבינלאומית וככזו היא מציגה בעקביות מדדי צמיחה משמעותיים. הביקוש ההולך וגדל בתעשייה זו מחולל מספר בעיות סביבתיות, ביניהן צריכה לא מבוטלת של מים ואנרגיה. כדי לאפשר למלונות לשמר את התחרותיות ביניהם בזמן שהם משפרים את יכולתם להשתלב בפעילות של חדשנות אקולוגית, GREENinMED מציעה גישה משולבת, המעודדת פיתוח מוצרים\שירותים חדשים לשימוש יעיל במים ובאנרגיה ולהפחתה של 10% מהיקפי צריכתם בענף התיירות.

המטרה הבסיסית של קול קורא זה הינה לבחור 8 מיזמים קטנים או בינוניים שיקבלו מענקים לפיתוח\להתאמה של מוצר\שירות חדש המכוון לחדשנות אקולוגית בצריכה ו\או בניהול המים והאנרגיה בענף התיירות.
המוטבים יקבלו תקציב זכאי מקסימלי של 25,000 יורו, עם 90% מימון משותף מהאיחוד האירופי, כלומר המענק המקסימלי לכל בקשה הוא 22,500 יורו.

להלן פעילויות העשויות לזכות את המיזמים במענק:

• הפקת ציוד או מוצרים\שירותים חדשים המשפרים משמעותית את הניהול ואת צריכת המים ו\או האנרגיה בעסקים בענף התיירות.
• יצירת יישומים, הנדסת מוצרים או הנדסת תהליכים המייעלים את הניהול ואת צריכת המים ו\או האנרגיה בעסקים בענף התיירות.
• יצירת יישומים, תוכניות או מערכות חדשות לניהול מרחוק של המים ו\או של האנרגיה בענף התיירות.
• התאמה פעילה או שיפור של טכנולוגיות חדשות לשירות קנייני המכוונות לקהלי יעד חדשים.
• שיתופי פעולה עם מרכזי מחקר או מרכזי חדשנות כדי לפתח טכנולוגיה שמפיקה מוצרים\שירותים חדשים.
• שיתופי פעולה עם עסקים בענף התיירות כדי לפתח טכנולוגיה שמפיקה מוצרים\שירותים חדשים.

המיזמים שייבחרו יוזמנו להגיש בקשה לתקציב מקסימלי של 25,000 אירו, מתוך הבנה ש– 90% מהסכום (עד 22,500 יורו) ימומנו על ידי האיחוד האירופי ושההשתתפות העצמית של המוטב תעמוד על 10%.
