A Touching Event
On March 17, 2020, in the city of Siena, Italy, during the first wave of
Covid-19 one of the most moving events took place in a charming
town, a project which later became known as the “Songs on
Balconies”, an entire nation who had experienced the virus in full
force experienced solidarity when two young artists decided to go out
and play nostalgic Italian 80’s songs. The whole world “infected” with
a phenomenon connected an entire population every evening, the
singing on balconies showed in practice how one person can initiate
change for one’s own cultural and social needs.

Your Handling and Response in a Situation
On a personal level this is a very challenging period, managing the
Human Resources of an organization in a time of crisis on a daily
basis creates a professional and human challenge, fortunately we are
privileged to have compassionate Management at the College who
inspire because they see individuals first and foremost. All faculties,
both academic and administrative, were an example of amazing
organizational solidarity and role models during a complex and
challenging period for an entire country in general and for the higher
education system in particular.
